Yes, we’ve been open for a few weeks now. We feel right at home in our new neighborhood and have a couple of regulars that we enjoy talking to and learning from. Now that we are settling in we are able to see what our slice of Crown Heights needs. We are busting out with ideas and are very eager to put them into action. So you can expect to see more from Brooklyn Bell’s The Local in the near future.
I will admit it’s amazing how much work goes into every scoop of ice cream and every slice of cake we make and serve but at the end of the day I have a big smile. It has taking a lot to transform this space into our family business. We have planted our new seeds and look forward seeing how we grow and yes as corny as it sounds we want our customers and friends to be a part of it.
